Ms. Dimple Bhandia is a career central banker with over 25 years of central banking experience covering the areas of financial market development and regulation, reserves management, financial stability, payment systems and banking supervision. She has also worked as Member of the Secretariat of the Financial Stability Board between 2015 and 2017. Currently, she is heading the Financial Markets Regulation Department in the Reserve Bank of India.

David Day is the Group Head of Sales, APAC for London Stock Exchange Group (LSEG). He

was formerly a Group Director and Head of North Asia for LSEG.

Prior to joining Refinitiv, David was a Managing Director in the APAC financial services business

of IHS Markit. Previously, he was Head of APAC and Managing Director for financial services

solutions provider Ipreo. David has held strategy, business development and investment banking

roles at various firms including Merrill Lynch and Goldman Sachs.

David holds an MBA from the Kellogg‐HKUST Executive MBA Program, an MS in Financial

Technology from HKUST and a BS from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He is

currently pursuing an MS in Law from the Northwestern University Pritzker School of Law.

David is based in Singapore.

Siddharth Bachhawat heads Markets for Barclays in India and has worked with Barclays for over 20 years across Finance, Treasury and Markets functions in Singapore and Mumbai.

Siddharth is a Chartered Accountant and Financial Risk Manager (FRM) charter-holder. He has also completed the Executive Program in Management from Columbia Business School.

Giles Castelino is Head of India and Global offshore Coverage at LSEG, responsible for managing operations and sales to drive LSEG’s continued expansion in the region. Giles also sits on the Board of Directors for RITSPL which is regulated under the Reserve Bank of India.

Giles has over 20 years ‘experience in Global markets, Banking, Financial Technology, Derivatives, Trade finance, Risk Management space and has held senior leadership positions across Asia pacific and the middle east. Before joining Thomson Reuters, Refinitiv, LSEG in 2011, he spent eight years in senior strategic roles running the FX and options desk at IndusInd Bank and heading institution and corporate sales for MF Global and Mecklai Financial.

Prior to LSEG, Phil was most recently with Morningstar, where he was the Head of Commercial Strategy for China, leading customer success, sales, and marketing teams to deliver exceptional client experiences and revenue growth. Ola is LSEG’s Head of Government Relations & Regulatory Strategy for APAC. In this role, he is responsible for LSEG’s policy and regulatory agenda across the region. He sets strategy and leads advocacy for delivering regulatory and policy objectives in support of LSEG’s priorities.

Ola has been at LSEG since 2019 and has previously been Head of Government Relations & Regulatory Strategy for UK, Middle East, and Africa.

Deepak is a senior management professional with over 31 years of proven experience in the petroleum industry, driving business growth and providing strategic leadership in International Trading, Business Development, Downstream Marketing and Supply Chain Logistics.

Currently he is a Senior Vice President, heading International Supply & Trading, at Essar UK Services Limited, the Global Capability Centre for Essar Energy Transition Fuels (EET Fuels)—a leading independent refiner and marketer of petroleum products in the United Kingdom.

EET Fuels owns and operates the Stanlow Manufacturing Complex, the UK’s second-largest refinery, with a processing capacity of 11 million tonnes per annum. Supplying approximately 18–20% of UK’s road fuel demand, EET Fuels is committed to reshaping the energy landscape by delivering resilient, secure, and affordable fuel solutions. Deepak is responsible for procurement of 78 MMbbls of crude and import / export of 2.4 MMT of products, on an annualized basis, managing the commercial, shipping and operations for these volumes.

At Essar, Deepak has pioneered innovative crude oil procurement strategies, ensuring value adding, diverse and cost-effective crude supplies to the refinery, and implemented effective product export and import strategies, in addition to creating and leading one of the best off site trading, shipping and operations teams.

Prior to Essar, Deepak spent two decades at Reliance Industries Limited, in various roles, trading in crude oil, secondary feedstocks (vacuum gasoil / straight run fuel oil) and middle distillates (diesel / jet fuel). He significantly grew the crude oil footprint for Reliance in the Americas, based out of Houston. His earlier role involved setting up Reliance’s retail petroleum network in Gujarat.

Post his Masters in Management Studies from the K.J. Somaiya Institute of Management Studies and Research, he began his career with Bharat Shell Limited, and spent 9 years with the group, establishing their automotive lubricants and LPG brands, across India.

Mr. Sanjay Sinha is a senior leader at IndianOil with extensive cross-functional experience spanning Retail Marketing, Gas Procurement and International Trade. Over the course of his career, he has managed diverse and strategic portfolios including crude and LPG procurement, import and export of refined petroleum products and risk management operations.

In International Trade, he led key process innovations, notably transitioning crude oil negotiations to ICE Chat-based platforms for spot and term purchases, enhancing transparency and efficiency over conventional email-based methods. He also spearheaded the finalization of IndianOil’s first term contract for the import of US LPG.

Mr. Sinha is part of the core group responsible for the formation of IndianOil’s Trading Desk, strengthening the corporation’s trading and risk management capabilities.

Mr. Sumit Kishore overseas the activities related to Gas Marketing and Transmission business of GAIL (accounting for 85% of company’s revenue) through a network of 13 Zonal Marketing offices across India. Earlier, he was looking after Business Development and E&P related activities in GAIL.

Mr. Kishore is a graduate in Chemical Engineering from IIT Kanpur. He started his career in GAIL in 1990 working in LPG processing plant located in Vijaipur in the state of Madhya Pradesh. Subsequently, he has worked in various Departments in GAIL like Business Development, Gas Marketing and Transmission, International LNG trading, Petrochemical Projects, Director’s Office, Zonal Marketing etc.

He was one of the core team members in a major change management HR initiative undertaken throughout GAIL. He had served as GAIL’s nominee Director on the Boards of OTPC (ONGC Tripura Power Company Ltd), GAIL Global Singapore, GAIL Global (USA) INC. and GAIL Global (USA) LNG LLC. Overall, he has around 36 years of diverse experience of working in GAIL.

Currently, he is GAIL’s nominee Director on the Board of GAIL Gas Ltd.

Shraddha Gandhi is a Proposition Director for Commodities and Corporate Treasury at the London Stock Exchange Group (LSEG). She brings extensive experience in the business information, data and analytics domain, with a strong focus on financial institutions and corporates.

Over the course of her career, she has played a pivotal role in driving the growth of the corporate business across South Asia, while establishing a strong market presence for the franchise.

Shraddha has over 18 years of experience spanning leading global institutions, including Deutsche Bank, MCX, and Bloomberg, where she has developed deep expertise in financial markets, client engagement, and data-driven solutions. She has completed Masters in Business Management from XLRI Jamshedpur.

Amit has 28 years of experience in Capital Markets. He has been with NIMF for around 22 years. In his current role as President & CIO - Fixed Income Investments, he leads a team of 20 highly accomplished and experienced fixed income professionals.

Anurag Mittal is the Senior Executive Vice President & Head – Fixed Income at UTI Asset Management Company, having joined the organization in 2021. With over two decades of experience across fixed income research and portfolio management, he has built a strong track record in managing diverse fixed income and hybrid strategies spanning macro and credit markets.

A Chartered Accountant affiliated with the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, Anurag holds a B.Com (Hons) degree from the University of Delhi and a postgraduate degree in Accounting and Finance with specialisation in Finance from the London School of Economics and Political Science. He began his professional journey with Bank of America in 2006 as a credit analyst.

Prior to joining UTI AMC, he previously held the office of Senior Fund Manager– Fixed Income at Bandhan Asset Management Company, where he managed several key debt mutual fund schemes. In addition to leading UTI AMC’s fixed income business, he is also a member of the AMFI Valuation Committee and serves on the Investment Committees for UTI AMC, Pension, and Alternate Capital.

K.Ravichandran brings over three decades of experience in the financial services industry, with nearly 28 years at ICRA Limited, an affiliate of Moody’s. As Chief Ratings Officer, Ravichandran leads ICRA’s analytical teams across Corporate, Financial, and Structured Finance sectors, and oversees the company’s Rating Committees. His responsibilities also encompass regulatory engagement and credit policy review.

A recognized thought leader, Ravichandran is a frequent speaker at industry conferences and is regularly featured in leading business news channels. He has authored numerous research publications on Indian credit markets.

Mr. Abhishek Kaushik is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Global Horizons Capital Advisors (IFSC) Private Limited, bringing over 23 years of experience in the banking and financial services industry. A Computer Science graduate and MBA, he has held leadership roles at premier institutions such as SPEC Finance, Kotak Mahindra Bank, Citibank, and HDFC Bank. Before founding GHCA, Mr. Kaushik served as CEO of SPEC Finance (IFSC) Private Limited, where he established the organization from the ground up at GIFT City, Gandhinagar—securing regulatory approvals, developing the business model, and setting up core teams and operations.

At Kotak Mahindra Bank, he spent over a decade in key roles including Head of Government Agency Business, Head of Solutions at the Centre of Excellence, Director for Emerging Markets at Kotak Wealth Management, and Regional Sales Head for Trade and Forex in South and East India. Jay Kothari is Senior Vice President, Global Head International Business and Lead Investment Strategist at DSP Asset Managers. He has been with the organisation since May 2005 and with the Equity Investment team since 2011. He brings 19 years of experience across equities and global fund raising. He has an MBA in Finance from Mumbai University and a Bachelor of Management Studies (Finance & International Finance) from Mumbai University.

Mr. V. Balasubramaniam (Bala) is the MD & CEO of NSE International Exchange (NSE IX) wholly owned subsidiary of NSE. He played instrumental role in operationalizing the liquidity switch from SGX to NSE IX with a daily peak National volume of USD 22.88 Billion Dollars . With a career in the Capital Market Industry spanning over three decades, he had played a key role in the development of Indian Capital Markets.  He was a part of the core team involved in setting up the National Stock Exchange of India in 1993. He was instrumental in creating the Capital Market segment for NSE, Nifty Index creation, conceptualizing of NCFM, setup of NSCCL as the first clearing corporation in India, NCFM certification and the Futures and Options segment inter-alia. 

Prior to NSE IX, he was Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of India International Exchange (IFSC) Limited (INDIA INX).  Before joining INDIA INX, he was Chief Business Officer of Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) heading the

business development encompassing multi assets segment.  Additionally, he was also responsible for the listings and data business of BSE and managing the entire trading operations and membership operations. He also co-founded BSE Technologies Pvt Ltd (acquired by BSE). Mr. Bala has also worked with Reliance Group as Vice President.

Mr. Bala is an independent advisory committee expert in IFSCA’s Exchange Derivatives, Standing Committee on Primary Markets, REITs and InvITs in IFSC, Transition Finance, Expert Committee on Climate Finance, Exchange Traded Currency Derivatives, Development of NRI Business and Ease of Registration and served in Direct Equity Listing, Sustainable Finance, Investment Funds and on positioning IFSC as a hub for offshore trading in INR.
