Drew has spent over a decade in the power industry, specializing in energy trading, origination, analytics, and portfolio management. He has held key roles at SB Energy, Shell, Enverus, Renewable Energy Systems (RES), and the Alliance for Cooperative Energy Services (ACES). Throughout his career, Drew has been passionate about solving complex problems, improving efficiency, and developing processes to enhance accuracy and reliability.
He holds an MBA from the University of Michigan’s Ross School of Business and a bachelor’s degree from Wittenberg University. A devoted Python enthusiast, Drew firmly believes that there’s no problem the language can’t help solve, whether in business or just for fun.
Drew lives in Houston with his wife and their two daughters, seven-year-old Nora and three-year-old Mila, who keep him on his toes. In his free time, he enjoys skiing and biking, though he admits that skiing is much harder to come by in Houston than cycling.

Jay believes in ground-up analysis using granular data and pioneering prediction tools to maintain edge and a complete market picture.

As Director of the Weather & Climate Research team within LSEG's Commodities Research team, Tom leads a global team of specialists, analysts, meteorologists and weather experts who provide critical weather and climate data and commentaries with impacts on various related markets, such as agriculture, power, gas, among others. In addition, the team provides proprietary forecasts and insights for various regions and variables/indicators globally. The teams’ content are available within LSEG’s Workspace platform, as well as various data feed products. Tom has been with the team for 15 years, and has a B.S. in Meteorology, and M.S. in Geography/Climatology, both from Northern Illinois University.

With over 20 years of experience in market fundamentals analysis, she excels in evaluating supply and demand dynamics, identifying risk factors, and forecasting prices. Maria's previous roles include over 7 years at Bentek Energy, a division of Platts, she also served as a senior analyst focused on gas trading and analysis for SourceGas Energy Services (SGES), the unregulated marketing affiliate of Source Gas LLC. Most recently, she was a Product Manager at Enverus, leading gas product initiatives. Maria holds a Master’s degree in Mineral Economics from the Colorado School of Mines

Reza Haidari

Reza Haidari currently serves as Director off Power, Gas, Coal, and Carbon (PGCC) at LSEG Data & Analytics – and is based in New York City. Reza directs strategy for the PGCC markets and has direct responsibility for increasing customer satisfaction, growing revenue and market share. Previously, Reza was Director of Global Natural Gas & LNG Research at Refinitiv, where he led research and modeling capabilities across teams of analysts focused on North America and European Natural Gas markets as well as Global LNG.
Before Refinitiv, Reza was a Senior Natural Gas Analyst at Point Carbon, where he and his team developed Gas Market Trader North America, a fundamentals-based analytics trading tool for natural gas traders and analysts. Reza started his career in energy as an Oil and Natural Gas Analyst in the Financial Advisory Group of IHS PFC Energy where he focused on oil and gas market analysis for financial-sector clients. Reza has served as a faculty advisor at Columbia University’s School of International and Public Affairs (SIPA) advising graduate students on a project focused on forecasting long-term US natural gas prices for one of the largest US asset management firms.

John is an energy specialist with deep expertise across market dynamics, pricing and risk management, forecasting, energy policy and security, applying a systems based, data driven approach to analysis. From 2008 to 2024, he was a senior market analyst at Reuters, covering oil, gas, power, emissions and the energy transition, and leading expert teams across global commodity markets. Earlier in his career, he worked in commodity analysis at Sempra Commodities (now part of JPMorgan) and in economic and policy research at Oxford Analytica. He holds a degree in Philosophy, Politics and Economics from the University of Oxford.

Gabrielle Kinder is the Carbon Research Lead for EMEA within LSEG’s Carbon Research Team, specializing in European compliance markets and global voluntary carbon markets. Her career throughout has been in environmental markets. Previous to LSEG she was an investment specialist at an environmental hedge fund within BNP Paribas, and prior to this, an associate within BloombergNEF. She holds first-class degrees in Sustainability (MSc) and Physical Geography with Biosciences (BSc) as well as the CFA Level 1, CFA IMC, and qualifications in data science.

Capt. Amrit Singh is a Research Principal at LSEG in London.
He has over 30 years of shipping industry experience gained in various roles. Singh began his career at sea and ascended to become Captain with Wilh. Wilhelmsen, Norway before stepping ashore. Prior to joining LSEG (formerly Refinitiv, Thomson Reuters), he was a Senior Equity Analyst at Clarkson Capital Markets in London with coverage of listed Shipping, Oil Services and Transport (Airlines & Automobile) companies across the U.K., Europe, South Africa, and Asia. Previously, he has held position as General Manager of a shipping agency and has served as Head of Corporate Planning in a shipping company.
Singh holds a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Edinburgh Business School, UK. Besides a Diploma in Ship Management from NSTC at North West Kent College, UK, he also qualified as a lead auditor/auditor in Quality and Environmental Management Systems.

Chris Evans is Director of Metals at LSEG, where he co-ordinates strategy for its metals business, including content, product, and trade execution workflows. Chris began his career in metals as a reporter, before moving to the London Metal Exchange where he launched the exchange’s first Cobalt contract. He has worked at a number of start-up companies and also at a major producer of aluminium. Chris has more than 20 years of experience in the metals business, he has worked in New York and in Zug, Switzerland, and is now based in London.

Bruce is currently director of metals research for LSEG with responsibility for managing research teams for base, iron ore and steel and precious metals across the group’s global locations. He joined Thomson Reuters in February 2014 as base metals research manager. Prior to this Bruce spent over six years as a sell-side equity analyst at Société General, London and Bank of America Merrill Lynch, South Africa, covering gold, silver and platinum mining stocks. Previous appointments include seven years as an exploration geologist in Africa and over six years as a Metals Analyst for GFMS, a precious metals consultancy. Bruce holds a BSc in Geology and a Masters in Mineral Project Appraisal from Imperial College, Royal School of Mines.

Andy Home has been writing about the metal markets and other commodity sectors since 1987. He started at Metals Week, progressing to Knight-Ridder Financial and then to Bridge over the course of the 1990s. In 2002 he co-founded Metals Insider, which was acquired by Thomson Reuters in 2008. Since then he has been a regular Reuters columnist, writing across the industrial metals spectrum.
He is the author of “Siberian Dreams”, published in 2007, a book about the Russian mining city of Norilsk. The journey also featured on BBC Radio 4 and was the subject of a lecture at the Royal Geographical Society in London.

Deborah Idowu

Deborah Idowu is a Metals Research Specialist, covering multi-metal analysis with a particular focus on base and battery metals. She joined LSEG in November 2024, bringing with her a foundation in commodity markets and regional demand analysis.
Prior to LSEG, Deborah worked at CRU, specialising in aluminium demand analysis across Africa, the Middle East, and Central and South America. Deborah began her career at IHS Markit and later worked at Peel Hunt, gaining experience in economic research and financial markets. She holds degrees in Economics and Finance from the University of York.

Alessandro Sanos is heading the global Customer Strategy function of LSEG’s Commodities, Energy, and Shipping offering of market insights, analytics, and data management. Before joining the London Stock Exchange Group, he worked for PwC in Greece covering the shipping and energy market, and for JPMorgan Chase in the United Kingdom. Alessandro is the Managing Director for LSEG in Geneva and contributes regularly to leading industry events and financial publications on data and market trends. A lecturer on data, technology, and innovation, Alessandro sits on the Executive Committee of GARP for Switzerland, on the ExCom of the Geneva Energy Forum, and is the Emeritus Chapter Head of the CAIA Association in Switzerland.

Tim has three years experience as a biofuel market analyst with a focus on regulatory developments and supply fundamentals. Tim holds a PhD in mechanical engineering, from University College London, on the design of novel biofuels for difficult to decarbonise sectors, and a masters degree in chemistry from University of Southampton.

Mobi leads corporate-level climate research at LSEG, where he drives the development of data and analytics for emissions measurement, climate transition and portfolio decarbonisation for global investors. In his role, Mobi works at the intersection of climate data, investment decision-marking and market insight, leading LSEG thought leadership research on transition to a low-carbon economy, including the Annual Decarbonisation in Portfolio Benchmarks report.
With over a decade of experience spanning sustainable finance, climate risk advisory, energy and oil and gas research, Mobi previously held roles at Deloitte, WSP and Global Data and was a researcher at University of Surrey. He holds a PhD in Bioenergy from Cranfield University and an MSc in Petroleum Refining from University of Surrey.
